Add Targeted Glut Exercises to Your Routine
Most people don’t know it but the butt is made up of three muscles, similar to the triceps. They are the gluteus maximus which most of us have heard of, the gluteus medius and the gluteus minimus. To get that big butt you want, you are going to want to work all three to see those results as quickly as possible.
Some exercises that you are going to want to include in your routine are: squats, lunges, stair climbing, cycling, hill sprints, etc. Basically anything where you are working on an incline or are requires to squat.
Try to target you glutes 1-2 times a week so that you are giving them both adequate work and rest. Remember that many exercises involve the glutes, including many leg exercises so you don’t want to overdo it.
Change Your Diet
Like with every other muscle group, when you work your glutes you need to make sure that you are giving your body the right fuel. The butt is both muscle and fat, and muscle is something that we can influence heavily in that area.
Eating an excess of calories to get a bigger butt through the easier route of gaining fat may sound like a good idea in theory but just like how you can’t spot remove fat, you can’t specifically add it to certain areas either.
This means that doing exercises is the best way to build up a bigger butt, and making sure you get the right nutrients will ensure that you are making the best progress in doing so.
To start, you want to make sure your meals are based around healthy lean proteins. These are foods like chicken breast, tuna, mackerel, turkey, beans etc. Yogurts and other dairy products are usually good choices as far as lean proteins go as well.
Don’t look to completely eliminate fat from your diet either, your body does need some to properly function. Also keep in mind that many of the vitamins and minerals we eat are found in the fats of some foods so that is another reason to not eliminate them.
What we want to do is limit our saturated fat intake and replace those with healthier unsaturated fats. To do this for example, we could choose a 0% fat yogurt product which has the protein we want without the saturated fat. We could add healthy fats from an almond or peanut butter for example so that we still are getting an appropriate amount of good fat.
Take Daily Supplements
Supplements aren’t just designed for people who are fitness fanatics or health freaks, millions of people take supplements daily and their popularity doesn’t show any sign of decreasing.

Change Up Your Outfit
For some people just the illusion of having a bigger butt is more than enough, and if you fall in to this category a simple change in wardrobe may do the trick.
Try wearing fitted jeans which are flattened in the rear giving it less material and making your butt look bigger. There are also products on the market which can be used as padding in clothing to give you that same appearance.
If you don’t want to put in the time or effort to actually make your butt bigger, there are ways you can get around it by “cheating” and giving the impression that it is bigger too.
